Professional Acting Classes for Youth & Adults
The Michael Chekhov Method: Although we use different techniques tailored to the child, the Michael Chekhov Method represents the crux of the curriculum. The method uses simple and clear tools for the actor, based on the powers of Concentration and Imagination, the Psychological Gesture, the Imaginary Center and Atmosphere. These techniques enable the actor to discover his/her character in a relatively short period of time.
Bilingual Aspect: Students who are bilingual get materials in both languages. Scenes are mostly in English, some in Spanish, and others in Spanglish.
In This Program:
- On-camera techniques & practice
- Audition techniques & practice
- Scene study, monologues, and improv
- Individualized coaching ( 1-2 every six months)
- Assistance with sides for auditions (during class times)
- Industry-specific lessons (How to)
- Faux head shots for agents
- Filmed footage shared with students and parents
- Participate in “The Real Act” television show aired by KGEM-TV
- Eligibility to be part of agent showcases to be scouted by agents (must be student for 6 months)

For 6 month program: 1 hour in person classes + 1/2 hour online didactic classes per week + filming dates
