Our primary focus is to give students who work in the industry or want to work in the industry the most rewarding and challenging training possible.
Our workshops, which go for 1-4 weeks, offer opportunities for individuals looking for short-term or specialized training. It is perfect for individuals wanting to try out acting without committing to be part of the industry.
ACTING FOR FUN $375/FOUR DAYS
This is an intro to acting workshop series. All classes are in person for 2 hours each class. If you want to know if acting is for you, this gives you the overview of different aspects of acting. It is a four-day Workshop series. On Day one, we review and learn to breakdown down monologues; Day Two, we review scene study; Day 3, we review improv; and Day 4, on camera and audition techniques.
IMPROV WORKSHOP SERIES $375/FOUR DAYS
All classes in person 2 hours each class. Four days … Day one: intro to improv -games. Day two, open scenes; Day 3, cold readings, and Day 4, creating improv scenes or monologues using prompts.
VOICE, PROJECTION, AND ARTICULATION WORKSHOP SERIES $375/FOUR SESSIONS
Day one: physical awareness, breathe awareness, touch of sound. Day two: freeingvibrations, channel of sound, resonators, and tongue 1-3. Day three: articulators and pronunciations, vocal textures: Wood, Earth, Metal. Day four: excercising your vocal range, vocal textures incorporating soft & strong, identifying the next step in your journey with your voice
MONOLOGUE GYM JAM $250/TWO DAYS
Two days. – “Monologues are strange- how do you act when there is nobody there? In this workshop, you will learn how to transform a monologue into a dynamic, compelling performance through specificity, obstacles, moments before and after, objectives, changes, and so much more. These are must-have tools which will help you nail an audition on camera or in person.”
